“I have a weak muscle in my back under the shoulder blade due to a long standing injury. My GP recommended pilates to strengthen that muscle and for the last 12 months it has helped and I have experienced less pain.
A couple of weeks ago my back had a relapse and was extremely painful. The normal exercises such as dumb waiter etc, were not working and I was on pain killers. During the next Pilates class Sarah introduced a new exercise which gave some instant relief, I continued the exercise at home and after 3 days the pain had reduced to the point that I no longer needed pain killers.
